Want to go the next step in your knitting? A basic sweater would be the answer. Learn how to read gauge and adjust needle size to achieve the gauge required for the pattern, raglan sleeves, and top down. This raglan style, top-down sweater is a pattern that can be used over and over. Choose worsted weight (Flax) for winter or fingering weight (Flax Light) for year-round wear. Multiple pattern sizes, allows you to make a sweater for anyone in the family, too! The pattern is Flax or Flax Light by Tin Can Knits.
Supplies Needed:
Yarn for sweater and size you are knitting (Worsted for Flax or Fingering for Flax Light)
Needles you will be using per pattern (US 6 & 8 for Flax or US 2 & 5 for Flax Light)
Scissors
Tape measure
Stitch Markers
Please knit a gauge swatch before class
Pattern: Both the “Flax’ and “Flax Light” patterns are available as free downloads from Ravelry. Click on the links above to find out more information about sizing and yardage requirements. If you need help downloading the pattern, please email us at info@west7thwool.com.This
