Lace Shawl Class

Date: September 11 and September 25
Supplies Needed: 330 yards (size small) or 610 yards (size large) lace or fingering weight yarn. US size 6 (4mm) circular needles, 24″ or larger. Pattern is included in the class fee. 

Always wanted to knit a lace shawl, but not sure how to read charts? Curious about blocking techniques? Join Jenn for a two session class on Ysolda Teague’s lace shawl pattern: Ishbel. Ishbel is a simple shawl pattern that can be worked in two sizes and two different yarn weights. The smaller, fingering weight version makes a cosy but pretty scarf while the larger, lace weight version can be worn as a scarf or draped elegantly around the shoulders. The solid stockinette centre lends simplicity to the design and adds extra warmth when knitted in thicker yarn. Ishbel is edged with a beautiful vine pattern and finished with elegant scalloped points.

Class policies: 
Enrollment: Class is limited to 8 people unless approved by the instructor. Enrollment must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the first class to ensure there is a space for you. You can sign up in the store, online, or by phone (817)731-5044. Payment should be made at time of enrollment. 

Cancellations: 
If you need to cancel your class registration, you will be issued store credit for the class amount if you give us a week or more notice. If given less than a week and we can fill your spot in the knitting class, you will be issued store credit for the class amount. 

If there are less than 2 students in a class, the class may be cancelled one day prior and store credit will be issued for the class fee. 

Missed Classes:
Missed single classes cannot be made up or credited towards a future class.
