Lace Shawl Class

Supplies Needed:

Yarn 
430 (550, 800) yards/393 (503, 732) meters lace or fingering weight yarn.

Needles 
US 5 (3.75 mm) for lace version/US 6 (4mm) for fingering version, 40 inch or longer circular needles, or size needed to achieve gauge.

Sizes 
Sizes S (M, L) 
49 x 23 (51.5 x 26, 71 x 32) in. 
124.5 x 58 (131 x 66, 180 x 81) cm.

Pattern is included in the class fee. 

Always wanted to knit a lace shawl, but not sure how to read charts? Curious about blocking techniques? Join Jenn for a two session class on Mindy Wilkes’s lace shawl pattern: Holden. Holden is a classic top-down triangular shawl. Inspired by the waves breaking along the shore, the shawl features wavy lace and is finished with a lovely picot edge. 

Skills needed include: basic knitting skills, knitted cast-on, k2tog, ssk, yarn over.

Class policies: 
Enrollment: Class is limited to 8 people unless approved by the instructor. Enrollment must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the first class to ensure there is a space for you. You can sign up in the store, online, or by phone (817)731-5044. Payment should be made at time of enrollment. 

Cancellations: 
If you need to cancel your class registration, you will be issued store credit for the class amount if you give us a week or more notice. If given less than a week and we can fill your spot in the knitting class, you will be issued store credit for the class amount. 

If there are less than 2 students in a class, the class may be cancelled one day prior and store credit will be issued for the class fee. 

Missed Classes:
Missed single classes cannot be made up or credited towards a future class.
