This is a fantastic stash buster! Bring all of your color choices and Jenn will help you with the order. In this class you will knit a mini shawl that covers the mechanics of the center increase, the lace panel and the color melding sections of the project.
Supplies Needed: A printed copy of the pattern is included in the class fee: Find Your Fade by Andrea Mowry
Yarn: Fingering Weight Yarn – 1540yds/ 385g in multiple colors
Color A – (80yd/ 20g)
Color B – (160yd/ 40g)
Color C – (240yd/ 60g)
Color D – (260yd/ 65g)
Color E – (280yd/ 70g)
Color F – (320yd/ 80g)
Color G – (200yd/ 50g)
Needles: Size US 4/3.5 mm (32 in/80 cm circular recommended)
Notions: stitch marker & tapestry needle
Gauge (measured over garter stitch after blocking): 20 sts and 46 rows = 4in/ 10cm
Finished Measurements: Wingspan – 101in/ 256cm, Center depth – 30in/ 76cm
Techniques: Knitting, purling, increasing, decreasing, shawl shaping, simple lace, and color melting!
Class policies:
Enrollment: Class is limited to 8 people unless approved by the instructor. Enrollment must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the first class to ensure there is a space for you. You can sign up in the store, online, or by phone (817)731-5044. Payment should be made at time of enrollment.
Cancellations:
If you need to cancel your class registration, you will be issued store credit for the class amount if you give us a week or more notice. If given less than a week and we can fill your spot in the knitting class, you will be issued store credit for the class amount.
If there are less than 2 students in a class, the class may be cancelled one day prior and store credit will be issued for the class fee.
Missed Classes:
Missed single classes cannot be made up or credited towards a future class.
