SIZE: one size fits most adults
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: about 7”(18cm) circumference & 6.5”(17cm) long
YARN: 220 Superwash Merino by Cascade Yarns; 100% Superwash Merino Wool; 220yd/200m; 3.5g/100oz; or any worsted weight, light color recommended.
NEEDLES: US7 (4.5mm) 24” needle, OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
NOTIONS: cable needle, 2 stitch markers, tapestry needle
GAUGE: 20 sts and 26 rows = 4”(10 cm) over stockinette stitch using US7 (2.75 mm)
SKILL LEVEL: Easy
CLASS HIGHLIGHTS
Super cute and easy to make! Fox face is is embroidered on with Duplicate Stitch technique. The mitts are worked in flat and sewn into right and left fingerless mitts after embroidery is complete. Makes a great gift!
Class Overview

Two part class – Day 1 will include making left and right mitts; part two will include learning and working on Duplicate Stitch technique.

Students will learn Slip stitch and Duplicate Stitch and their applications, learn how to work with stitch and color charts.

Students will be shown multiple samples of Fox Fingerless Mitts design and other designs with Duplicate Stitch technique for an inspiration for the future projects.

Need for class

Students need to know how to cast on, “knit” and “purl” stitches and basic cable knitting.

Class policies:
Enrollment: Class is limited to 8 people unless approved by the instructor. Enrollment must be made at least 48 hours in advance of the first class to ensure there is a space for you. You can sign up in the store, online, or by phone (817)731-5044.
Cancellations:
If you need to cancel your class registration, you will be issued store credit for the class amount if you give us a week or more notice. If given less than a week and we can fill your spot in the knitting class, you will be issued store credit for the class amount.
If there are less than 4 students in a class, the class may be cancelled one day prior and store credit will be issued for the class fee.
Missed Classes:
Missed single classes cannot be made up or credited towards a future class.
