(Must be comfortable knitting small circumferences in the round).  \n\n\n\n\nBecause the heels of socks are typically worked on half of the leg stitches\, it’s easy to make substitutions. In this class\, we’ll explore three types of heel that will expand your sock-knitting repertoire—the Round Heel\, the Short-Row Heel\, and the Afterthought Heel. \n\n\n\n\nSupplies: \n\n\n\n\nAbout 30 grams (1/3 ball) of worsted-weight wool yarn ; size U.S. 7 or 8 (5.5 or 5 mm) double-pointed needles (you may substitute two circular needles or the magic- loop method if you prefer); stitch marker; tapestry needle. \n\n\n\n\n       Class policies: Enrollment: Class is limited to 20 people unless approved by the instructor. Enrollment must be made at least 48 hours in advance of the class to ensure there is a space for you. You can sign up in the store\, online\, or by phone (817)731-5044.  \nCancellations: If you need to cancel your class registration\, you will be issued store credit for the class amount if you give us a week or more notice. If given less than a week and we can fill your spot in the class\, you will be issued store credit for the class amount.  \nIf there are less than 8 students in a class\, the class may be cancelled one day prior and store credit will be issued for the class fee.  \nMissed Classes:Missed single classes cannot be made up or credited towards a future class.  \n
