Time: Saturday Afternoon from 1pm to 3pm

Level: Advanced Beginner to Intermediate
Skills Taught:
Students will learn an advanced beginner to intermediate technique of adding beads into their yarns. We will cover how to add beads to both singles and plied yarns, as well as tricks of this art yarn technique. Now, you can feel confident in embellishing your own handspun for years to come. Best of all, this course if friendly for BOTH spindles and wheels! So no one needs to worry about being left out.
Students, please come to class prepared with at least one sample single in either the S or Z twist. Feel free to make more than one single if you would like. Samples should be at least enough yarn for your to experiment with in the second half of the course. Please also bring any lazy kates if you have any, as supplies may be limited. A mixture of beads and sample fiber will be available during the course, yet if you find something that speaks to you, absolutely feel free to bring them to the class. Just be mindful of the size of your wheel’s orifice! Bulky flyers are not necessary but can make fitting larger beads or unique add-ins easier.
