Pattern: Throwback by Andrea Mowry (pattern may be purchased in advance on Ravelry or at the shop for an additional $9.00)
This sweater is worked flat from the top down, seamlessly, except for the sleeves which are knit in the round.
Sizing: 1 (2, 3, 4)(5, 6, 7)
Finished bust circumference:
35 (39, 43, 47)(51, 55, 59)”
This sweater is intended to be worn with approximately 5” positive ease
Gauge: 18.5 sts & 26 rows = 4”/10 cm
Measured over stockinette stitch knit flat, after blocking.
Needles:
Main Fabric: US 8/5 mm – 32” circular
Ribbing: US 7/4.5 mm – 32” circular, 16” circular for sleeves or double points
(Use the needle size you need to achieve gauge, and size down one for ribbing.)
Yarn:
Worsted or DK weight for body or anything that provides the correct gauge.
Color A: Main Color – 980 (1075, 1185, 1335)(1455, 1620, 1740) yds – additional yardage is you want to lengthen
Contrast Colors B, C & D – 150 yds each
Homework:
Come to class with a 4 inch square already knit and blocked on the size needles you wish to knit your sweater on.
Class policies:
Enrollment: Class is limited to 8 people unless approved by the instructor. Enrollment must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the first class to ensure there is a space for you. You can sign up in the store, online, or by phone (817)731-5044.
Cancellations:
If you need to cancel your class registration, you will be issued store credit for the class amount if you give us a week or more notice. If given less than a week and we can fill your spot in the knitting class, you will be issued store credit for the class amount.
If there are less than 4 students in a class, the class may be cancelled one day prior and store credit will be issued for the class fee.
Missed Classes:
Missed single classes cannot be made up or credited towards a future class.
