Luminous Summer Sweater Class

Luminous Summer is a simple tee worked from the top down. It has minimalistic finishing with a row of eyelets delicately framing the face. It has a unique placement of short rows that shapes the neck without disrupting the neckline. This cropped tee uses very little yarn, making it the perfect project to indulge in exquisite yarns.

Luminous Summer is graded with inclusive sizing in mind, designed to fit actual bust sizes from 30 inches to 66 inches.  Measurements will be taken during our first class, your stitch gauge measured and the correct size determined prior to you casting on.  Come join the fun and participate in this unique method of knitting your own sweater!

Beginner/Intermediate

Gauge:

17 stitches and 22 rows = 4 inches

Yarn:

DK weight: Cascade Sarasota, Juniper Moon Harris Tweed, or Sandnes Garn Line

Yardage: 

410 (465, 520, 575, 630) {680, 750, 810, 860, 935} yds,  

Additional yarn required for lengthening body and sleeves.

Needles:

US 7 Circular needle – 24 to 60” for body

US 5 Circular needle – 16” for small circumference knitting (neck and armhole edgings)

Notions:

Stitch markers; waste yarn; yarn needle

Homework:

Please come to class with a 4 inch by 4 inch swatch knitted and blocked.  This is the first thing we will work with during our first class.

               
Class policies: 
Enrollment: Class is limited to 8 people unless approved by the instructor. Enrollment must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the first class to ensure there is a space for you. You can sign up in the store, online, or by phone (817)731-5044. 

Cancellations: 
If you need to cancel your class registration, you will be issued store credit for the class amount if you give us a week or more notice. If given less than a week and we can fill your spot in the knitting class, you will be issued store credit for the class amount. 

If there are less than 4 students in a class, the class may be cancelled one day prior and store credit will be issued for the class fee. 

Missed Classes:
Missed single classes cannot be made up or credited towards a future class.
